About Sky Flyovers

Sky Flyovers is a request site for people in New Smyrna Beach and Central Florida who need aerial photos or video. We don't fly drones for clients ourselves. We collect requests and connect people with local drone pilots.

How requests work

When you send a request through our form, we review it and pass it to a local pilot who handles that kind of shoot. The pilot contacts you directly to confirm the location and details, check whether the airspace needs FAA authorization, and give you a quote. Sending a request is free and doesn't commit you to booking.

Pilots are independent businesses

The pilots we connect you with run their own businesses. They set their own prices, schedules, and delivery terms, and any agreement is between you and the pilot. Before you book, ask to see the pilot's FAA Remote Pilot Certificate and proof of insurance, and agree in writing on what you'll receive and how you're allowed to use it. Our guide on how to hire a drone pilot covers what to check.

What we publish

We write practical guides for people hiring aerial photography, like what real estate drone photos include and how to prepare a property. Articles on this site are drafted with the help of AI tools and reviewed and edited before publishing.
